The microstructure, hardness, and chemical composition of gas-atomized AlCoCrFeNi powder particles were investigated, which showed a biphasic structure, consisting of FCC and BCC with a significant deviation in hardness. SLMed samples, consisting of BCC phase, indicated poor printability, inhomogeneous microstructure, and cracks.
