| Tóm tắt: | The Graduation Paper focuses on studying English phrasal verbs in general and phrasal verbs in the series “Active Skills for Reading” in particular. The paper also investigates the types, formation, patterns, meaning as well as the practical use of English phrasal verbs. Besides, it compares and points out the similarities and differences between English phrasal verbs with similar phenomena in the Vietnamese language. Through the surveys with suitable questionnaires and participants comprising 110 first-year and second-year English majors at Phenikaa University, the graduation paper points out the difficulties the students usually have when they learn English phrasal verbs; and recommends several ways for English learners to overcome such difficulties. |
