The instruments used in the study were questionnaires. The questionnaire was designed for 126 students in 7 classes out of the 426 students chosen at random in class. The results showed that learners encountered various kinds of difficulties with listening problems, which were divided into three categories: factors related to the listeners, factors related to the speakers, and factors related to the materials.
